Read more...When photographer and John Peel Centre volunteer, Tony Bell, suggested interviewing the guests who appear at the Centre we thought it was such a good idea that he should do it!  He kicked off the series talking to fellow Dubliner, Kal Lavelle and we haven't been able to stop him talking since!

Read more...Back Porch opened the blues evening at the John Peel centre getting the crowd warmed up for the Saiichi Sugiyama Band. It was a bitterly cold February evening, washboard player Mike Rushmore’s fingers were so cold that those in the front row were warned to beware of flying thimbles.
